The writers won’t ever betray our trust like that… *squee**cringe* I hope not.ģ. Twilight Sparkle will ALWAYS be our favorite egghead. After all, friendship is magic, right? She’s nothing without her friends.Ģ. And it’ll be impractical if Twilight has to leave her friends and Ponyville. I doubt this will happen since season 4 is already CONFIRMED. The bronies have also voiced other concerns… To which I’ll just state my personal opinion on…1. It’s nice that she always gets the fanbase to continue supporting the team – it’s very gracious and sweet of her to do so, another reason why she’s on my list of ‘favorite people ever’. It’s her creation after all, this sounds a little corny but it’s like her baby. We won’t know what her plans for Twilight are, maybe it does sort of involve Twilight gaining more magical powers? Or becoming something like an alicorn of sorts…? We’ll never know.Įven though Lauren Faust doesn’t work on the show anymore and has constantly stressed on twitter that she trusts the current writers, it’ll probably be natural for her to be a little upset if some things on the show don’t concur with her vision for the show. She’s originally intended for Princess Luna and Princess Celestia to be the only two alicorns in Equestria… But then again, when a fan asked her whether she intended for Twilight to be an alicorn, her reply was that she “had plans” for Twilight. She probably still had tons of ideas and stories even when she left MLP. I suppose she will, undoubtedly, be kinda upset at this idea cause this was ultimately her creation after all.
There’s only one thing about twilicorn that upsets me a little…that Lauren Faust seems pretty upset about it – or that’s how most bronies make it seem. There are quite a handful of bronies who think that it’s great too, others are just quietly submitting to the fate of twilight sparkle… others are probably complaining…or whining (*inserts Rarity gif*) or being really upset about it. The news kinda caused quite an uproar amongst the bronies though…I’ve been going on mlp forums all day to read the comments about it, since it’s nice to know what other people think about it. I’m super psyched about Twilight being an alicorn princess! She’s gonna get wings, probably even stronger magical powers… It’s gonna be great and I’m soooo looking forward to that episode – we totally need a great story to go along with her coronation, right? I’m sure the writers will do a totally wonderful job anyway. And then her big brother super best friend forever gets married to Princess Candace, which means she’s kinda related to royalty already.Ĭonsider that, and the fact that she’s such a natural leader and incredibly talented in magic…It’s only a matter of time before she becomes an alicorn-princess. She’s got remarkable magic abilities, she’s undeniably the leader of the mane 6. She’s from Canterlot, she’s Princess Celestia’s student, and oh hey… Her element of harmony’s worn on a crown while the other ponies get necklaces instead. I know this might sound bad or something, but I can’t seem to phrase it in any other way… Ever since episode 1, Twilight was the ‘special’ one.
